Epic Zelda Book ‘Hyrule Historia’ Is Coming To America

Like Eddie Murphy. In that film. Except it’s a book.

Nothing causes us to punch the air with a hoot of pure delight like the news of something cool the Japanese have coming to a country other than Japan. Because you are clever, you have probably noticed that America and Canada are different countries to Japan. Not only this, but they are countries that are going to get the awesomeness that is the official Hyrule Historia.

The magnificent compendium of all things Legend Of Zelda hit Japan as part of Nintendo’s jubilant celebration of the franchise. We gave up all hope of ever seeing it in the West, but light at the end of the tunnel has been ignited, as Siliconera is reporting that the magnificent book is coming next year.

Clocking in at $35, the book’s being published by Dark Horse, and will be available to consumers from January 29th 2013.

The hardcover book contains an impressive 272 pages of Zelda lore, as well as insights into the creation of the series and a foreword by Nintendo mastermind Shigeru Miyamoto. There’ll be concept art aplenty, oodles of insight from some of the top designers who’ve worked on the series, as well as an exclusive manga by Akira Himekawa, the head honcho of Zelda manga adaptations.

The book is also famous for containing the, that’s the, official Legend Of Zelda timeline for the entire franchise, finally setting in order a series of videogame myths, legends and parables that has otherwise baffled fans for years.

Seeing such a terrific tome translated is wondrous news indeed. While there’s no confirmation of any release in Europe or Down Under, we’d be surprised (and probably weep openly in the streets like Christian Bale did in that scene in Equilibrium) if the Hyrule Historia didn’t eventually go global, following this news.
Either way, we’d actively encourage any and all future purchasers of this book to hold it aloft over their heads to a triumphant fanfare upon getting it. It’s tradition.

Monster Hunter news is still coming in 2012

For the third time in the past few weeks, Capcom has talked about the fact that Monster Hunter news that relates to its life outside of Japan is still on its way. This is what Christian Svensson said:
A few weeks ago, I told MH fans on this forum that you’d hear something before the end of the year. Nothing has changed on that front. You’re also assuming that when it comes, it’ll be at some event you can see coming from a mile away. That’s not necessarily a correct assumption. While I appreciate the passion, I can’t help you if every possible industry event leads to build up and crashes in anticipation. If we somehow get to Dec 31 and you do not have more visibility, then please be mad at me. Until then, I’d request the benefit of the doubt and your continued patience.
If time travel existed, this might be a good situation to go back in time and never promise anything. I’m sure the questions would have faded, people would have (mostly) forgotten about Monster Hunter outside of Japan in the mean time, and there’d be none of this anticipation. That might have been a better position for Capcom.

Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon Delayed

Vaccum cleaners are wonderful. You can use them to frighten pets, bother people watching television, and even to clean the carpet. They’re also an extremely useful means by which to rid large abandoned households of ectoplasmic apparitions, should the need arise.
Luigi’s GameCube foray into ghost-bustery needs no introduction, and 3DS fans have been eager to get their hands on the stereoscopic sequel for some time. Bad news struck Nintendo fans of the Americas today when it was reported that the game was delayed into 2013. Which, by the way, is next year. As in, not this year. As in, we have to wait even longer. Boo!
lm2
“No, when he wrote ‘boo’ he meant it as an expression of disdain, not a reference to y-y-you… uhh… c-c-can I get back to you next year on the whole sucking-you-into-my-Hoover thing?”
The question on everyone’s lips (except American lips, which were busy twisting downwards at the corners with sadness at the news), was would the delay hit Europe too?
A glance at the game’s information page on the UK Nintendo website suggests, sadly, that everyone’s suffering the 2013 blues. The game’s listed as a 2013 release, with no precise date beyond that. Not even a specific month.
Presumably Luigi’s schedule is just too packed for him to go creeping through mansions slurping up spectres, especially now he and his brother are busy frolicking with attractive Spaniards.
It’s glum news indeed for many a fan of the lean green ghost-slurping machine, and does detract one particularly anticipated title from Nintendo’s potential end of year lineup. Nonetheless, hopes for the hoover-powered haunt-’em-up remain high, and we can only assume that the longer wait will make for a much better game when it finally arrives.
Until that day, the humble household vacuum cleaner remains nothing more than a dutiful household appliance, humbly waiting for the day it can be strapped to a plumber’s back and used for greater things.
We feel your pity, vacuum cleaner. It really sucks.

Five Reasons to Buy Nintendo 3DS XL

Nintendo 3DS XL costs $199.99.

1. Transfer Our Current 3DS Games
We have no intention of leaving Mutant Mudds, Mighty Switch Force! and Pushmo behind. Thankfully, we're able to transfer purchased content from the old 3DS (and by old, we mean so March 2011) to the 3DS XL. VVVVVV, Sakura Samurai, Dillon's Rolling Western...scratch that, Dillon can stay.
2. Play New Super Mario Bros. 2
It's a foregone conclusion that we cannot pick up a 3DS XL without also buying New Super Mario Bros. 2 along with it. With this in mind, we plan to crack the shrink-wrap on the plumber's newest adventure post haste, then redeem the Club Nintendo code. And yes, we're Platinum.
3. Check Out Previously Released 3DS And DS Games
We can't wait to see what Pilotwings Resort, Resident Evil Revelations and other titles (even DS) will look like on that 3DS XL screen. In fact, we posted a feature that lists all the games right here. We also plan to avoid Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance until the XL's in our hands. At long last, we'll be able to enjoy 3DS games without wearing glasses or contact lenses.
4. Switch On Glasses Free 3D
We're super curious to see how the 3D effects will appear on the larger screen. Blurry? Just right? Supremely enhanced? Suffice to say, we'll max out the slider pronto.
5. Part Ways With The Current 3DS
Sad to say, but yes, there's no use keeping the Cosmo Black system around collecting dust. No need to cry, though, as we're sure it'll wind up in the hands of a very happy gamer disinterested with owning the latest and greatest systems. You know, someone far less materialistic than us.

Bigger May Be Not Better

It would be one thing if the screen was 40 percent larger, or even 60, but 90 percent represents a stunning increase; the same holds true for the lower touchscreen, which was supersized to an impressive 4.18-inches. The screens don't simply enhance the 3DS. They consume it.

Sorry, sir, but we couldn’t save your 3DS XL

This image appeared on Twitter (via NeoGAF) and probably acts as a worthwhile reminder: if a video game is making you that angry, walk away. There’s no need to snap the head off your defenceless 3DS or 3DS XL. It may feel like the most important thing in the world when you mistime a jump in New Super Mario Bros. 2, but fear not, you will live to see another day (and Mario will be revived to make another jump).

A Fake Anger-Management Therapist

R4i Gold 3DS Not Working Problem Tips

Before starting this tutorial, I should make clear about several things firstly. The N3DS I was playing is Nintendo 3DS Japan Version with latest version. The R4 card I used is Wood R4i Gold 3DS with latest kernel.

I installed the R4i gold 3ds into the game console and planned to play the most classic Nintendo game - Pokeman White. Then I could not found my R4 card on the loading screen or home screen. The first solution I thought is to restart the console. However it could not help. Then I thought should I reinstall the R4 card? Of course not. It troubles a lot.

I checked the card slot to make sure the card had been fixed in a right way. Then I restarted the game console. You know what? The problem got solved. It is so unbelievable and such an easy thing.

I searched some other tutorials online when I went back home and got such a conclusion. If R4i Gold 3DS does not work on your game console, there may be three reasons. First, you update your console to the latest version but the kernel of your flash card does not support it. This is why many official websites of flash cards will strongly recommend you not to update your game console. Second, you set up the R4i gold 3ds in a wrong way. It means that you maybe download wrong kernel files or do wrong operation steps. Third, unknown reason like my experience. When you restart the game console or reset the flash card, the problem will get solved in an unknown way. Maybe your console or flash card needs to get a little relaxed.

There are many flash cards sold in the current market, such as R4i SDHC, R4 revolution, M3i Zero, and so on. I strongly recommend you buy R4i Gold 3DS. It is with a very powerful support team. Every time when Nintendo updated their console, they will update their update their flash card immediately. What is more, you do not need to update your flash card sometimes even when Nintendo updates their console. R4i Gold 3DS can support all Nintendo 3DS versions unless Nintendo makes a very big change.

Although R4i Gold 3DS is with a 3DS in name, it does not mean it does not support other Nintendo game consoles, such as DSi LL and DSi. It supports all Nintendo game consoles and all versions. To learn more details about R4i Gold 3DS, please click here.

How to Use Ace3DS PLUS Cheat Function

To use cheat function, the steps are very simple.
step1: download the latest kernel AOS V2.01, unzip it and out all the files on the root of the sd card.
Step2: download a nes game and also out it on the root of your sd card. let take super mario as an example.
Step3: insert your sd card into Ace3DS PLUS and insert Ace3DS PLUS into your console, power on.

Difference between Ace3DS PLUS and Ace3DS

There are 2 items realeased by Ace3ds Team: Ace3DS and Ace3DS PLUS. One is blue and the other is pink, many users say it like the boys and girls. So what the difference between them? And which one is better?

The first is the appearance. The Ace3DS is a blue card use plastic package like other flashcart, the front is card and back is card reader. The Ace3DS PLUS is a pink card hiden in a big card reader, use plastic package too, but you can not see the card in front, you just find a fat card reader in the back, when you open the card reader, you will find the flashcart in it. This is a clever idea, we know many flashcart shop is not in local, so you need buy them over sea. This can protect your cards from the custom and safer.

The second is the kernel. Ace3DS use a r4 kernel, has the base function including cheat and soft reset. The Ace3DS PLUS use wood kernel, more function and can play more games. What’s more is that the Ace3DS PLUS can work on 3DS v4.3.0-10 perfectly, no need ds or dsi, no need patch, this is so convenience. That is why the Ace3DS PLUS catch users eyes right now!

The third is the price. We know Ace3DS is very cheap, it is the cheapest card which can work on 3DS. But the Ace3DS PLUS seems cheaper! The function is better, the card is safer and the price is cheaper. This is a good news for all users.

So, we can say the Ace3DS PLUS is the update version of Ace3DS.
